We design and install technology systems for commercial customers throughout the United States. We are expanding our team in the Louisville, KY area and are seeking a motivated Structured Cabling Technician to join our growing operation. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced technicians, build your skills, and contribute to the success of commercial technology projects. We are open to candidates with a range of experience, from developing low-voltage technicians to experienced structured cabling professionals. The right candidate will be dependable, take pride in quality work, and have a willingness to learn and grow. Travel Expectations Approximately 75% out-of-town travel. Travel expenses fully covered. Company-paid hotel accommodations. Airfare or company vehicle provided based on project needs. Daily per diem provided. Overtime opportunities available. Candidates must be comfortable traveling during the work week. What You'll Do Install commercial structured cabling systems including Cat6, and Cat6A copper cabling. Terminate, test, and troubleshoot copper cabling systems. Assist with fiber optic cabling installation, termination, and testing. Install cable support systems including J-hooks, basket tray, ladder rack, and other pathway solutions. Install racks, patch panels, cable management, and network infrastructure components. Perform Fluke testing, documentation, and quality verification. Read blueprints, drawings, and project specifications. Work alongside experienced technicians on commercial job sites. Maintain professional installation standards for cable routing, support, labeling, testing, and documentation. Communicate with project managers and team members to complete projects successfully.
