Job Description

A re you the GOAT of structured cabling? We're looking for you. Not the person who needs to be told twice. Not the tech who waits for someone else to figure it out. We want the one who walks onto a college campus, reads the blueprints like a book, takes ownership of the IDF room, and leaves the job site tighter than they found it — without being asked. If you've been in this trade for years and you're tired of working for people who know less than you, let's talk. What you'll actually be doing: You run the field. College retrofits. New construction builds. You're leading the crew, planning pathways, building out MDF/IDFs from scratch, running Cat6A and fiber like second nature, and you're the face on-site for the GC and the client. Real work. Real responsibility. We back you up with the tools, the gear, and a company vehicle to get you there. You're the one we want if: You have 5-10 years in low voltage and you've been the go-to person on the job — the one people come to when things get complicated. Copper (Cat5e/6/6A) and fiber (SM/MM) are your bread and butter, from rough-in to final Fluke certification and closeout docs. You can read a T-drawing and floor plan without hesitation and plan your pathways before the first cable gets pulled. You deliver clean as-builts and test results — not just "done," but properly done. You thrive in occupied spaces, new builds, and everything in between. Bring more, earn more: MA Class D Systems Technician License — this gets you to the top of our pay range, no negotiation needed. BICSI, Corning, CommScope, or Siemon certs are a major plus. Experience running college retrofits or institutional campus projects puts you at the front of the line.
What we bring:
$40-$50/hr — $40 base, higher end for experience and MA Class D license Company vehicle Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with matching HSA and paid time off A crew that respects the craft No long application.
