Comcast/Xfinity Installation Technician (1099 Independent Contractor)

Massachusetts (Boston, Taunton, Cape Cod & Surrounding Areas) About the Position HighTek Contracting Inc. is actively seeking experienced Comcast/Xfinity Installation Technicians to join our growing team throughout Massachusetts. We offer consistent work volume, weekly pay, dedicated operational support, and long-term opportunities for motivated independent contractors. Responsibilities Perform residential Comcast/Xfinity installations, service changes, and trouble calls. Install and activate Internet, TV, and Voice. Install outlets, inside wiring, and customer equipment. Run aerial and underground drop cables when required. Troubleshoot signal, connectivity, and equipment issues. Complete all work to Comcast quality and safety standards. Educate customers on their new services and equipment. Accurately complete work orders, photos, and documentation. Requirements Previous Comcast/Xfinity or cable installation experience preferred. Valid driver's license. Reliable truck or van. 28' fiberglass extension ladder. DOCSIS meter. All required hand tools and PPE. Ability to work safely on ladders and outdoors in all weather conditions. Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
