Our employee relationship managers support you throughout your engagement, providing career guidance and reemployment assistance. Our client is currently seeking a qualified Field Technician to join their team in the Kansas City, MO area and provide end-user support. This Technician will serve as the primary onsite contact for technical and service-related issues. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, installing, and repairing laser printers, wide-format printers, kiosks, POS systems, and related hardware / software. Collaboration with Level II or Lead Technicians may be required to ensure timely and accurate resolutions.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Diagnose and resolve issues with printers, kiosks, and POS systems Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software Perform routine maintenance to optimize equipment performance Deliver clear technical assistance to customers onsite and over the phone Maintain accurate service records and uphold quality standards Perform post-sale, field technical product support Assist with installations and repairs or maintenance tasks of technology products Resolve customer technical issues and answer questions Keep record of system problems and issues Complete routine tasks under moderate supervision
Skills and Qualifications :
Minimum 1+ years of related experience CompTIA A+ certification required Ability to read and understand documentation and learn quickly Good working knowledge of computers and computer systems Willing to learn, friendly and personable Strong knowledge of printers, computer hardware, and software Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or in a team Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Wage Range :
The rate for this position is between $16.50 - $22.00 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
