Job Description Cable Technician - Structured Cabling Charlotte, NC Join Next Level Technician as a Cable Technician in Charlotte, NC! Earn $18-$28/hr , enjoy weekly pay, benefits, and steady work with a national leader in low voltage staffing. Apply now! Responsibilities Pull, route, terminate, and label CAT5e/CAT6 cabling in commercial environments Assist with installation and termination of fiber optic cabling Dress and organize cabling in MDF/IDF rooms and communication closets Test installed cabling using Fluke or similar testers Punch down voice and data jacks and terminate patch panels Install and assist with racks, cabinets, ladder rack, and cable tray systems Read and interpret blueprints, system layouts, and cable schedules Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites Work safely on ladders and lifts (comfortable with heights) Requirements 1-3+ years of structured cabling or low voltage experience Experience with CAT5e/CAT6 pulling and termination Basic understanding of cable testing and troubleshooting Ability to read blueprints and installation drawings Reliable transportation and strong work ethic Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots) Preferred Qualifications Experience with fiber optic installation or termination Experience working in commercial, industrial, or data center environments BICSI certification a plus OSHA or lift certifications Experience with cable tray or conduit pathways Why Work with Next Level Technician in Charlotte, NC?
