TCS installs, services and monitors Smart Home alarm systems for State and Federal Government, commercial, residential and small businesses. We are a company founded by Technicians and have a culture of achievement and installation excellence. Position Summary As an Installation Technician, you are responsible for providing excellent customer service and driving customer loyalty, quality and overall satisfaction by servicing, programming, configuring, dismantling, reconstruction, converting and trouble-shooting, but not limited to carbon monoxide detection, video monitoring, networking. Above all, you will ensure complete customer satisfaction with both their new system and installation process.
Your specific duties will include:
Multi-family fire alarm prewire and finish out of alarm systems Ensuring the highest level of safety and responsibility in order to avoid injury, property damage or loss of unused materials Providing exceptional customer service at all times Consulting with management on any issues or concerns Cleaning up work area thoroughly following installation Maintaining all company equipment, including truck, tools, inventory, etc. Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Will train for the right person Good sales skills, particularly with strong up selling and closing abilities Willingness to relocate/travel as needed Mechanical aptitude Strong customer service skills Ability to work effectively both on an individual basis and as part of a team Schedule flexibility and the ability to work weekends Thorough understanding of alarm systems (user interaction, troubleshooting, etc.) preferred Experience in a low voltage environment, a plus Cable installation, telecom, DirecTV experience, a plus Ability to pass criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen This pay rate is during the 30 day probationary period. Performance raises are determined after the probationary period. Guranteed 40 hours a week 2 sick days and 2 personal days after 90 days. Accrued 5 days vacation to use on 1 year anniversary. Up to an hour lunch break, based on supervisor discretion.
