  • $42 an hour Position Summary The Low Voltage Systems Technician is responsible for installing, terminating, configuring, and troubleshooting low voltage systems for residential and commercial projects.
This role supports network, audio, video, CCTV, security, and control system installations while working closely with team members to complete projects safely, accurately, and efficiently. This position works primarily on active high end residential and commercial job sites. The technician will work with installation teams, project leads, and other trades to complete low voltage system installations from rough-in through final setup and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities Install low voltage cabling for networks, audio, video, CCTV, security, and control systems. Install system hardware, devices, equipment racks, cameras, speakers, access points, control panels, security devices, and related components. Assist with configuration and setup of network, audio, video, CCTV, security, and control systems. Troubleshoot system issues related to cabling, terminations, hardware, connectivity, programming, and system performance. Work with team members, project managers, designers, and other trades to complete installations according to project requirements. Read and follow plans, wiring diagrams, installation instructions, and project specifications. Maintain clean, organized, and professional work areas on job sites. Test completed work to verify proper operation and quality. Communicate job progress, issues, and material needs to supervisors or project leads. Follow company standards, safety practices, and applicable codes for low voltage installations.
