Job Responsibilities:
Splice fiber optic or copper on various kinds of job sites Perform daily pre and post trip checks on all jobsite equipment and vehicles Demonstrate good judgment in the field Perform all duties adhering to company safety procedures and policies Utilize standard telecommunications tools Read and interpret splicing prints Manage daily and weekly project work based on deadlines, material and equipment availability, weather, and other factors Coordinate with supervisor to ensure continual supply of work and availability of materials Draft and submit redlines and splicing paperwork in a timely manner upon completion of project Identify the location of defective cable using various test equipment and repair buried and aerial fiber optic cables Performs other duties as assigned by managerBenefits:
