Structured Cabling Technician

Role and Responsibilities Required to oversee daily tasks and progress of jobs assigned to Lead technician.

• Progress and issues on jobs to be relayed to operations managers via daily reports
• Technical training on field duties such as (fiber optics, Termination of copper, Closet buildouts, Security, etc.)
• manual labor on jobs when needed (pulling cable, terminating connections, installing hardware)
• Gather material list for jobs and report back to operations managers for ordering / If smaller items or tools that can be bought at local store for jobs then do so and keep receipts for documentation.
• Keep operations mangers up to date on man power needed for jobs to stay on schedule with job completion date
• Do weekly quality control walks of assigned jobs/ or as directed by the operations managers
• Do final Job walk with operations mangers and to sign off completion of job.
• Attending Job meetings with General Contractors
• Coordinate with operations managers on labeling, as built and other project documentation.

$20.00 - $26.00 per hour
