$20-$25/hr Overview We are currently hiring Cable Technicians / Installers to support structured cabling projects across commercial environments in the Columbus area. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within the low-voltage industry , with strong potential for full-time conversion. ️
Important:
This role requires hands-on structured cabling experience , specifically cable termination —not just general data center exposure. Key Responsibilities Pull and route Cat5e/Cat6 cable under direction of lead technicians Perform cable termination, punch-downs, and patch panel work Assist with installation of racks, servers, j-hooks, and support structures Read and follow project specs and manufacturer guidelines Work in commercial and healthcare environments Ensure quality work is completed right the first time (DIRTFT) Meet daily/weekly production goals Required Skills (Must-Have) Proven experience with structured cabling installation Hands-on termination experience (Cat5e/Cat6 required) Experience with punch-downs, jacks, and patch panels Ability to use basic hand tools (snips, wire strippers, punch-down tools, etc.) Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism Reliable transportation Commitment to job site safety and attendance policies Nice to Have Fiber experience Experience in commercial cabling environments Ability to read blueprints or construction diagrams Work Environment Commercial job sites (including healthcare settings) Multiple active project locations Hands-on, fast-paced environment Benefits (Upon Eligibility) Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with pre- and post-tax options Life insurance and disability coverage Employee Assistance Program PTO and leave options Additional Details Must pass BGC and drug screen Must provide your own basic tools Safety equipment provided if needed Why Apply?
