Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cable Installer-Technician and become a vital part of delivering reliable telecommunications services to residential and commercial clients. This energetic role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a wide range of telecommunications infrastructure, including network cabling, fiber optics, satellite dishes, and telephony systems. Duties Install and configure telecommunications network cables, including Ethernet, fiber optic lines, and low-voltage wiring for residential and commercial sites Set up and test Cisco routers, switches, and other networking equipment to ensure optimal performance Perform fiber splicing with precision to maintain high-quality connectivity standards Use hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, wire cutters, and power tools to complete installations efficiently Operate company vehicles safely while traveling to job sites for field service appointments Install satellite dishes and telephony systems while ensuring proper alignment and signal quality Conduct equipment testing using ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools to verify system integrity Follow safety protocols during outdoor work environments involving ladder use, electrical work, and outdoor conditions Provide excellent customer service by explaining system features, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction Requirements Proven experience in telecommunications infrastructure installation or related field service roles Knowledge of computer networking concepts including Ethernet cabling and network equipment setup Hands-on experience with cable installation techniques such as wire splicing, crimping, stripping, and testing Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, ladders safely, and electrical testing devices like ohmmeters Familiarity with Cisco routers, switches, fiber splicing techniques, and low-voltage wiring standards Strong outdoor work experience with the ability to adapt to varying weather conditions Excellent customer service skills with clear communication abilities Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for company vehicle operation Electrical work experience or certifications are a plus but not required Ability to follow detailed instructions while working independently on multiple projects Embark on a rewarding career where every day presents new challenges! Pay:
$26.45 - $31.85 per hour
