Cable Puller

Job Summary The Cable Puller will assist in the installation of structured cabling systems including fiber optic and copper cabling across commercial buildings, data centers, and telecom infrastructure. The role includes pulling, routing, labeling, and securing cables as per engineering specifications. Day Shift and Night Shift needed. Key Responsibilities Pull, route, and secure low-voltage, fiber optic, and Cat 5e/6/6A cabling through conduits, pathways, and ceiling spaces Read and follow pathway drawings, riser layouts, and rack elevations Assist in cable terminations, labeling, and dressing of patch panels and racks Maintain cable management and ensure bend radius and separation standards are followed Load/unload materials and tools; keep job site clean and organized Work under the direction of lead technicians, installers, or site supervisors Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE on site Basic Fiber testing - VFL, OLTS Requirements Previous experience in structured cabling, telecom, or electrical work preferred Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders or lifts Familiarity with hand and power tools (drills, fish tape, crimpers, etc.)

OSHA 10/30

certification is a plus Must have reliable transportation to job sites Willingness to travel (if applicable) Preferred Skills Knowledge of fiber handling, pulling lubricants, or innerduct installation Understanding of basic cable testing (continuity, tone & trace) Good communication and teamwork attitude BICSI certification or similar is a plus
