Data Center Low Voltage Technician (Entry-Level) Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and reliable Entry-Level Data Center Low Voltage Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in telecommunications, structured cabling, low-voltage systems, or data center operations. The technician will assist with installing, routing, labeling, and organizing network cabling while supporting experienced technicians in a fast-paced data center environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with pulling, routing, and securing copper and fiber optic cabling.
- Support installation of network racks, cabinets, and cable management systems.
- Label and organize cabling according to project standards.
- Use basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Perform material handling, inventory counts, and equipment staging.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Follow all site safety requirements and company policies.
- Assist senior technicians with cable testing and troubleshooting activities.
- Read and follow simple work instructions, diagrams, and floor plans.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- No prior data center experience required.
- Experience in construction, warehouse, manufacturing, or other hands-on environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albany, OH.
