Job Description
FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Assemble and test Inbound and Outbound jobs orders Cut, strip, crimp, solder, label, and finish cable assemblies using approved tools and procedures Perform continuity, insulation resistance, high-potential, resistance, or other required tests Handle, move, and store cable reels, connectors, and components to prevent damage Follow all company safety, quality, environmental, and operational procedures Operate forklift Load/unload reels of cable and components as needed Move the reels of cable in the yard to desired location Maintain stock and inventory levels Cycle count inventory as needed Receive inbound as needed Identify and request inventory Maintain clean and organized work and shop area Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous forklift operation experience preferred but not required Previous experience in the industry preferred but not required

Ability to operate Hi-pot equipment Maintain a strong safety culture Basic math skills Good listening skills and a passion for learning High work ethic, dependability, and detail oriented Strong communication skills Must be a team player Must be open to cross-training opportunities Ability to work in non-climate-controlled shop Stand up to 12 hours daily Walk up to 12 hours daily Bending/stooping up to 12 hours daily Repetitive movement up to 12 hours daily Lifting weight up to 50lbs regularly
