These are the qualifications that matter: Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in electrical, mechanical, or industrial systems. Knowledge of electrical distribution equipment, switchboards, switchgear, control panels, and power products. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. Experience with electrical troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning activities. Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and procedures, including visual inspections and ductor testing. Understanding of power cabling, control wiring, and networking equipment. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with customers, contractors, project managers, and manufacturing teams. Ability to travel to customer sites and work in field environments as required. Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with applicable regulations and procedures. This is how you'll make an impact: Attend project meetings as required, including coordination with contractors, customers, and project stakeholders. Install, modify, and repair electrical and mechanical components and subassemblies, including panelboard interiors, circuit breakers, bus bars, switchgear section doors, subpanels, and control components. Perform power cabling installations and control wiring modifications according to project specifications. Conduct basic testing of modified assemblies, including visual inspections, ductor testing, and other verification activities. Perform commissioning activities for switchboards, control panels, and other power distribution products. Troubleshoot electrical circuits, control systems, and networking equipment to identify and resolve issues. Coordinate with Technical Project Managers and manufacturing facilities to develop solutions for product, installation, or commissioning issues identified in the field. Identify and communicate requirements for replacement parts, corrective actions, and additional field resources when necessary. Perform preventive maintenance activities on installed equipment to ensure reliable operation. Execute field installations, upgrades, retrofits, and modifications to existing customer equipment. Provide technical product support and guidance to customers during installation, startup, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities. Document service activities, test results, commissioning reports, and customer communications accurately and completely. Maintain compliance with company safety standards, industry regulations, and customer site requirements. Why This Job?
