Phone and Network Infrastructure Cabling Technician

We are looking for a skilled Infrastructure Cabling Technician to join our team. This role involves setting up and maintaining Infrastructure cabling in commercial environments. The responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving cable issues, installing new cables, and upgrading existing systems. The ideal candidate will be familiar with different types of Infrastructure cabling, including copper, fiber optic, and structured cabling systems. They should also understand Infrastructure architecture and be able to create structured cabling plans for new installations. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain phone and network cabling systems in commercial environments, Health care environments and some Quarry environments Follow plans to install new cabling systems Identify and resolve phone and network issues related to cabling Upgrade existing phone and network cabling systems as needed Test newly installed or relocated cables according to company standards and protocols Adherent to safety procedures and regulations Provide excellent customer service, ensuring all needs and issues are addressed Work with network engineers and other IT professionals as required Qualifications Proven work experience as a Infrastructure Cabling Technician or similar role Knowledge of different types of phone and network cabling, including copper, fiber optic, and structured cabling systems Familiarity with phone and network architecture and structured cabling plans Ability to identify and resolve phone and network cabling issues Strong customer service skills Physically capable of performing the duties of the role, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces Certification in network cabling or related field is a plus

Pay:

$21.00 - $27.00 per hour
