Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Low Voltage Technician to join our growing team in Arizona . In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of low voltage and fiber optic systems in commercial environments. As a Lead Technician , you will oversee job sites, coordinate with team members, and ensure projects are completed efficiently and to company standards. Lead Technicians are provided with a company vehicle. This position focuses on local work only —no out-of-state travel required—supporting commercial clients throughout the Arizona area. This is a great opportunity to work on hands-on projects involving structured cabling, security systems, and network infrastructure , while contributing to the safety and connectivity of our clients. Responsibilities Install, configure, and troubleshoot low voltage systems including structured cabling, fiber optic cabling, CCTV, security alarms, fire alarms, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), access control systems, and telecommunications networks Perform fiber optic termination, splicing (fusion and/or mechanical), testing, and troubleshooting using industry-standard tools Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, fiber layouts, and technical manuals to complete installations accurately Perform
CAT5/CAT6/CAT6A
cabling, terminations, rack & stack, and equipment installation Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure systems meet performance and safety standards Use hand tools and power tools for cabling, conduit bending, terminations, labeling, and mounting devices Coordinate with project managers and team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications Diagnose and resolve system issues both on-site and remotely to minimize downtime Maintain accurate documentation including service reports, system testing results, and installation records Lead technicians will manage job sites, assist team members, and ensure quality control on installations Qualifications Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician, Cable Technician, or Installer Hands-on experience with structured cabling, fiber optics (single-mode and multi-mode), CCTV, and access control systems Strong understanding of network cabling (CAT5, CAT6, CAT6A), telecommunications, and commercial installations Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and system documentation Knowledge of NEC standards and low voltage installation practices Experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license required Why Join Us Join a company focused on delivering high-quality low voltage and network infrastructure solutions across the Arizona area.
