Job Description
Gateline AI is a leading provider of enterprise security technology solutions throughout South Florida. We specialize in the design, installation, and maintenance of advanced video surveillance, access control, networking, AI analytics, and integrated security systems for commercial buildings, luxury condominiums, and private communities. We are seeking a motivated, professional, and experienced Low Voltage Installers to join our growing team. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. This is an on-site field position. Remote work is not available. Position Summary The Low Voltage Installer is responsible for installing, terminating, testing, troubleshooting, and servicing commercial low-voltage systems while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship, professionalism, and customer service. This position requires someone who takes pride in producing clean, code-compliant installations and who enjoys working in a team environment. Responsibilities Install commercial IP security camera systems. Install and service access control systems. Install card readers, electric strikes, maglocks, request-to-exit devices, door contacts, and controllers. Pull, route, label, terminate, and test Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optic, and low-voltage cabling. Install conduit, cable supports, junction boxes, and mounting hardware. Install and configure switches, network equipment, and related infrastructure. Mount cameras and other security devices neatly and professionally. Troubleshoot wiring, network, and device issues. Read blueprints, floor plans, and wiring diagrams. Maintain organized documentation and installation records. Follow NEC, manufacturer specifications, and company installation standards. Maintain a clean and organized job site. Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, and coworkers. Safely use ladders, power tools, testing equipment, and hand tools. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of commercial low-voltage installation experience. Extensive experience installing IP camera systems. Extensive experience installing commercial access control systems. Experience terminating and testing Cat5e/Cat6 cabling. Experience pulling cable in commercial environments. Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, switches, PoE, VLANs). Ability to read construction drawings and wiring diagrams. Strong troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication skills. Professional appearance and attitude. Valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely climb ladders.
