We specialize in premium residential and commercial technology installations, including home audio, networking, security, automation, and structured wiring, and central vacuum. We're looking for a skilled, dependable Low Voltage Technician who takes pride in clean installations, enjoys solving technical problems, and understands that quality workmanship matters. THE ROLE
As a Low Voltage Technician, you'll be responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting technology systems in homes and commercial environments. You'll work alongside homeowners, builders, project managers, and other trades, so professionalism, communication, and attention to detail are essential. What You'll Do Perform residential and commercial low-voltage pre-wire Pull, terminate, and test CAT6, fiber, coax, and speaker wire Mount TVs, soundbars, speakers, and AV equipment Install security cameras and video doorbells Install routers, switches, wireless access points, and network racks Install motorized window shades and control systems Build structured wiring panels and equipment racks Troubleshoot wiring, networking, and equipment issues Read blueprints and construction plans Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites Communicate professionally with clients, builders, and project managers Complete installations to C5 Solutions' quality standards
EXPERIENCE THAT STANDS OUT
Experience in any of the following is highly valued: Structured cabling & pre-wire Home theater installation TV mounting Whole-home audio Security camera systems Residential networking Smart home integration Motorized shades Equipment racks Cable management Residential construction Experience With These Brands Is a Plus Lutron, Sonos, WattBox, Ring, Eero, Snap One/ADI, Resideo, Origin Experience with similar networking, security, or AV platforms is also welcome.
WHAT YOU BRING
Required / Preferred 1+ year of professional low-voltage experience preferred Strong understanding of residential construction Ability to safely use ladders, hand tools, and power tools Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability Excellent attention to detail Organized approach to installations and cable management Professional appearance and positive attitude Strong communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and construction environments
