Job Description

Cable Technician - Data Center - Spartanburg, SC Join Next Level Technician as a Cable Technician in Spartanburg, SC! Work in a data center environment with steady, long-term opportunities and room to grow. We're looking for motivated technicians who want to build their skills and advance their careers in low voltage and structured cabling. Responsibilities Pull, terminate, and test CAT6 cabling in a data center environment Assist with rack & stack, cabinet installation, and equipment mounting Dress and organize cabling to meet data center standards and cleanliness requirements Support installation and buildout of network infrastructure and structured cabling systems Follow detailed processes and procedures required for data center work Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites Work safely on ladders and lifts (comfortable with heights) Requirements 1+ years of structured cabling or low voltage experience Experience with CAT6 pulling, terminating, and testing Comfortable working with racks, cabinets, and equipment installs Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes Reliable transportation and strong work ethic Willingness to learn and grow in a data center environment Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a data center environment Familiarity with rack & stack and cabinet installations Experience with cable management and structured cabling standards OSHA or lift certifications Schedule Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM start Primarily first shift, with opportunity for overtime and occasional night work What We're Looking For Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism Detail-oriented mindset (critical for data center work) Coachability and willingness to learn Positive attitude and adaptability Motivation to grow within the low voltage industry Why Work with Next Level Technician?
