This role is essential in ensuring the installation, maintenance, and repair of low voltage systems, including security systems, surveillance cameras, and computer networking. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and be adept at working with various tools and technologies to deliver high-quality service to our clients. Duties Install, configure, and maintain low voltage systems such as security alarms, CCTV cameras, and access control systems. Perform troubleshooting and repairs on malfunctioning equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with clients to assess their needs and provide tailored solutions for their low voltage requirements. Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during installations and repairs. Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards during all installations. Document all work performed, including system configurations and maintenance records. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in low voltage technology. Skills Proficiency in installing and maintaining security systems, including Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and CCTV setups. Knowledge of electrical principles and practices related to low voltage installations. Experience with computer networking concepts to integrate various systems effectively. Familiarity with locksmithing techniques for access control solutions is a plus. Ability to build structured cabling systems that meet client specifications. Competence in using power tools safely for installation tasks. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in executing technical tasks.
