Austin, TX Job Details Contract From $100 a day 6 hours ago Qualifications Rebar installation Outdoor work experience Power tools Manual handling Hand tools Full Job Description Post-Tension Cable & Rebar Installer Job Summary We are seeking dependable and hardworking Sub-Contract Post-Tension Cable & Rebar Installers to join our residential construction team. The ideal candidate will assist with the installation of post-tension cable systems and rebar reinforcement on residential foundations and slab-on-grade projects. Experience in concrete reinforcement, construction labor, or foundation work is preferred but not required for motivated candidates willing to learn. Responsibilities Install and secure post-tension cables according to project plans and specifications. Place, tie, and support rebar for residential foundations and slabs. Read and follow blueprints, layouts, and construction drawings. Assist with foundation preparation and concrete pour activities. Maintain a clean and safe work environment on job sites. Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently. Work closely with supervisors and crew members to meet project deadlines. Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations. Qualifications Previous construction, rebar, concrete, or foundation experience preferred. Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on your feet throughout the day. Reliable transportation to and from job sites. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn.
