We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Security Technician to spearhead the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced security systems. This energetic role involves leading field service operations, ensuring system integrity, and providing expert technical support. Responsibilities Lead the installation and servicing of security systems including CCTV, sensors, alarms, and access control devices. Conduct system design assessments and interpret schematics to ensure precise implementation. Troubleshoot complex issues related to computer networking, low voltage wiring, and electrical components. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively during installation and repair tasks. Manage remote access software for system monitoring and diagnostics. Collaborate with clients on alarm system sales, upgrades, and system customization projects. Maintain detailed documentation of service activities, system configurations, and technical reports. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician specializing in security systems or related fields. Strong knowledge of computer networking, telecommunication systems, and surveillance technology such as CCTV and sensors. Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools, power tools, and reading schematics. Electrical experience with low voltage wiring, cabling techniques, and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Familiarity with fire alarm systems, lock mechanisms, and security system integration. Ability to troubleshoot complex issues involving system design, remote access software, and alarm systems. Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to customer service.
