Job Description
Cable Technician / Installer Colorado City, TX | 4-Month Contract | We're hiring A Cable Technicians/Installers to support the installation of backup power systems in a data center environment. This is a great opportunity for candidates with experience in telecom, cable installation, construction, electrical work, or strong mechanical aptitude. Responsibilities + Install cables, battery racks, and backup power equipment + Use hand and power tools for installations + Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting + Document daily work and communicate progress to project leads + Maintain a safe and organized work area Requirements + Mechanical aptitude and experience using basic hand tools + Ability to lift up to 40 lbs + Telecom, cable, electrical, construction, or related technical experience preferred + Valid driver's license and reliable transportation + Ability to work on-site in a data center environment Ideal Backgrounds + Cable Technician + Cable Installer + Data Center Technician + Low Voltage Technician + Telecom Technician + Electrical Helper Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Colorado City, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
