Cable/Fiber Bury Technician

No prior experience in cable installation required. We provide comprehensive on-the-job training. • Duties 1.

Safely operate hand tools and mechanical equipment to install, bury, and secure fiber optic and copper cables underground. Perform fiber splicing to connect fiber strands accurately, ensuring optimal network performance. 2.Use testing tools such as opm(Optical Power Meter) continuity and troubleshoot cabling issues. 3.Follow safety protocols during trenching, cable laying, and equipment handling to prevent accidents. 4.Document all work performed with detailed reports on installations and repairs for quality assurance.

• Experience (Prefered but not required) 1.

Prior experience as a service, instalation or bury technician in a field service role within telecommunications or electrical industries is highly desirable. 2.Hands-on knowledge of fiber splicing techniques and cable installation procedures. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools such as trenchers, cable pullers, pliers, screwdrivers, and wire strippers effectively. 3.Strong understanding of telecommunication standards, cable management, and safety regulations related to underground cabling projects.

• Qualifications 1. Will be required to work in cold/hot weather 2. Will be required to have knowlage on use of hand and powertools 3. Truck able to cary tools
• Pay Typicaly 80
• 200 a job, and most people can do atleast 3 jobs a day.

A job is 1 bury. We pay by job. You would essentially be a 1099 contractor
