SmartTalent Staffing is looking to hire a Parts Tech for a manufacturer in Auburn, WA. Ideal candidate will be motivated to work full time and have a minimum of 1 year of parts tech support or related assemble experience (details below).

ABOUT THE JOB AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Warehouse Support & Parts Tech is responsible for cutting wire and pulling components to specification. Preparing the Print Travelers and the parts used in the manufacturing and assembly of wire harnesses. This role supports production accuracy, material flow, and documentation to ensure efficient and high-quality manufacturing operations. Cut wire, cable, and pull components to required lengths according to engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and work instructions Label cut wire and components accurately to ensure traceability and correct assembly Prepare, print, and organize manufacturing print travelers for wire harness assembly orders Verify print traveler information, including part numbers, quantities, revisions, and routing steps Stage and distribute cut materials and print travelers to production and assembly areas Maintain inventory accuracy by reporting material usage and shortages Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and quality requirements Perform basic inspections to ensure cut parts meet specifications Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards Assist with other warehouse or production support tasks as needed

REQUIREMENTS

Basic math and reading skills required Adaptable and flexible to work additional hours on short notice to complete orders, make a schedule change or work on special projects to meet customer demands. Able and willing to work overtime is required. One year of related assemble experience. Ability to cut, measure, and handle wire components safely. Good organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
