Daily responsibilities include completing work orders, resolving service issues, and ensuring installations meet company and customer quality standards. Successful candidates will work directly with customers while maintaining safe work practices, following operational procedures, and delivering reliable service in residential environments. This is a W-2 employee position offering ongoing employment, practical field experience, and opportunities for long-term growth within the telecommunications industry. Primary Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain coaxial cable systems for residential customers while meeting company performance standards. Carry out service calls, diagnose connection issues, and complete corrective actions to restore network performance. Record completed work, production details, materials used, and required job information accurately through company reporting systems. Perform assigned tasks in accordance with company procedures, customer specifications, and established quality expectations. Comply with OSHA requirements and all applicable safety practices while working at customer locations and job sites. Participate in quality assurance activities and promptly correct deficiencies identified during inspections. Exercise care when working around customer property and existing utility infrastructure, reporting any incidents immediately. Safely operate, maintain, and transport company-issued tools, equipment, and work materials. Keep supervisors informed of job progress, scheduling concerns, and any field-related challenges that may impact project completion. Represent the company professionally by providing courteous customer service and maintaining a positive attitude on every assignment. Compensation This position is compensated through a production-based pay model, with earnings determined by the number and type of completed jobs. Weekly income depends on productivity, workload, and overall performance. Most technicians earn the equivalent of $24-$30 per hour , with top performers having the opportunity to earn more based on completed work and production levels. Typical weekly earnings range from $1,500 to $2,000 , depending on hours worked and production volume. All wages are paid in accordance with applicable federal and state labor laws, including minimum wage and overtime requirements. Qualifications Comfortable using standard field tools, ladders, and mobile devices required for daily work assignments. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide professional customer service. Capable of troubleshooting technical issues, organizing daily workloads, and working with minimal supervision. Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving history. Willingness to travel to multiple job locations and work flexible hours when project demands require it. Additional Requirements Maintain a professional image while representing the company at customer locations. Access to a truck, van, or SUV suitable for transporting tools and equipment is required. Successfully complete a background check and drug screening, where permitted by applicable laws. Provide and maintain the tools necessary to safely and effectively perform assigned job duties.
