Apprentice Installer / Technician (Low Voltage)

Reliable Security Sound and Data (RSSD) is a well-established specialty low voltage company (in the business for 40+ years) here in Everett, WA; looking to add a qualified Installer/Technician. We specialize in the commercial installation of CCTV, Access Control, Security, Telecommunications, Audio and Fire alarm systems. We are currently looking for Installer Technicians located within 1 hour of Mukilteo, WA who are seeking to acquire their 06 Electrical license. 75% of our work is located out of state and the ideal candidate can travel for up to 3-4 weeks at a time and must be at least 21 years of age. Reliable Security provides all hotel accommodations and meals when staying out of town for projects. Reliable Security provides a company cell phones, tool bags, and select company specialty tools upon hiring, after 90-days employees are eligible for insurance benefits.

Cable installation (Cat6, fiber, etc.), cable termination, and cable certification. Installing devices such as CCTV cameras, Access Control devices, etc. You will also work towards obtaining your WA low voltage (06) hours for testing to a journeyman status. You will be required to get a Washington state gaming license, so a clean background is a must for this position. OSHA 10 certification, and other security certifications and training will be made available based on project requirements and scopes.

Understanding of basic electricity & electronic systems Able to work independently. Able to read schematics and blueprints. Good customer service skills Able to pass a drug screening. Must have Personal vehicle and active driver license, a safe driving record is required during onboarding paperwork.
