Contract to Hire About the Role We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Service Technician to support commercial and field-based projects throughout the Northwest region. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technician with strong fiber optic, structured cabling, and low voltage troubleshooting experience who enjoys working independently in the field.
Key Qualifications:
Active Washington State EL06 Low Voltage License (required) Experience terminating and troubleshooting fiber optic cabling Hands-on experience with the Corning UniCam fiber termination process Strong knowledge of CAT5e, CAT6, and CAT6A structured cabling systems Experience installing and servicing
CCTV, IP/POE
cameras, wireless access points (WAPs), POS hardware, and access control systems Comfortable working at heights and in active commercial environments Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent customer service Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic cabling using the Corning UniCam process Perform fiber testing and diagnostics to identify and resolve connectivity issues Install, service, and troubleshoot CAT5e/CAT6/CAT6A structured cabling systems Install and troubleshoot IP/POE and analog camera systems Install and service wireless access points, POS equipment, and access control devices Read and interpret installation standards, schematics, and project documentation Maintain safe work practices while working at heights and on active customer sites Support occasional night and weekend work based on project requirements Compensation & Benefits Company vehicle provided (Ford F-150 assigned after training and orientation) Paid drive time and mileage reimbursement during the training period (excluding the first 30 miles each day) Two to three weeks of field training followed by one week of company orientation in Arkansas Full benefits package upon permanent hire Stable long-term opportunity with a growing organization Broadstaff, LLC., provides equal employment opportunities to all qualified individuals without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, pregnancy, age, national origin, physical or mental disability, military or veteran status, genetic information, or any other protected classification protected by federal, state or local laws.
