We design and install technology systems for commercial customers throughout the United States. We are seeking an experienced Lead Structured Cabling Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for a skilled commercial low-voltage technician who enjoys traveling, leading field installations, solving problems, and delivering high-quality work for national clients. This position is based in the Green Bay, WI area and requires approximately 75% out-of-town travel for commercial projects nationwide. What You'll Do As a Lead Structured Cabling Technician, you will: Lead small crews on commercial structured cabling and network infrastructure projects. Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot Cat6, and Cat6A copper cabling systems. Install, terminate, and troubleshoot fiber optic cabling systems. Install cable pathways including J-hooks, basket tray, ladder rack, and other support systems. Perform Fluke testing, certification, troubleshooting, and documentation. Install racks, patch panels, cable management, and network equipment. Read blueprints, drawings, and project specifications. Coordinate with project managers, customers, and other trades. Identify field challenges and communicate solutions. Maintain One Source standards for quality, safety, labeling, testing, and documentation. Set the example for technicians by promoting teamwork, professionalism, and quality workmanship. Travel Expectations Approximately 75% out-of-town travel. Travel expenses fully covered. Company-paid hotel accommodations. Airfare or company vehicle provided based on project needs. Daily per diem provided. Overtime opportunities available.
