• based on business needs This role is best suited for technicians comfortable with shift rotation and flexible scheduling Job Summary The Mechanic Level I reports to the Service Center Manager and inspects, diagnoses, and repairs diesel‑powered lift trucks and industrial equipment .

The fleet includes everything from small equipment (weed eaters) to large‑scale industrial assets such as locomotives , making versatility and a willingness to learn critical to success. Technicians perform preventive maintenance, mechanical and hydraulic repairs, and troubleshooting of electrical systems using diagnostic tools. As skills grow, technicians take on more complex and varied equipment.
