We're looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to help maintain and repair our fleet of vehicles and equipment. If you have a strong background in diesel engines and mechanical systems, this role offers a great opportunity to contribute to our success.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and heavy equipment. Ensure all vehicles meet DOT specifications and company standards. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Conduct emergency service calls for breakdowns on job sites. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance. Assist with replacing parts and ensuring all equipment remains operational.
Qualifications & Experience:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred but not required). Minimum of 2 years of experience in diesel engine repair and heavy equipment maintenance. Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems. Strong understanding of industrial equipment maintenance and repair. Welding and cutting skills (preferred but not required). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Job Requirements:
Must provide own tools. Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Clean driving record.
