Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Diesel/Gas Mechanic for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity in Mobile, AL , working Monday through Friday on the day shift . The ideal candidate will have their own tools and experience inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel- and gasoline-powered vehicles and equipment. This role focuses on preventative maintenance, engine diagnostics, mechanical repairs, and minimizing equipment downtime while maintaining high safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, lubrication, filter replacements, and inspections. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and fuel system issues. Repair and replace engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, cooling systems, and other vehicle components. Service diesel- and gasoline-powered trucks, trailers, construction equipment, and fleet vehicles. Maintain accurate service records and follow company safety standards. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as a diesel and/or gas mechanic. Must provide your own tools. Strong knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines, drivetrains, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostic procedures. Valid driver's license required.
