Summary Repairs and maintains diesel trucks by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Perform all job duties required of a Technician I and II Record clear and concise notes and charge out all parts used in TINA Ensure all parts removed are tagged for warranty Follow troubleshooting tree to diagnose and repair most codes Diagnose and repair the following: Oil and coolant leaks (EGR cooler, water pumps, failed seals, etc.) Drivelines Fuel systems including, fuel pumps, injectors, etc. Most EGR, ATD, DPF, and turbos Knowledge to diagnose and repair body control systems Understand truck computer electronic systems Understand APUs enough to complete basic repairs Can follow troubleshooting tree and diagnose and repair most codes Diagnose and repair of drivelines Competencies To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
