Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of diesel equipment, including semi-trucks & trailers, industrial equipment, buses, & RV's. Your expertise will ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely, supporting our commitment to excellence in service and operational reliability. This position offers an exciting opportunity for mechanics with a desire to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, air brakes, suspension components, and electrical systems using schematics and diagnostic tools. Conduct repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues related to suspension, HVAC systems, wheel alignment, hydraulics, and other industrial equipment. Inspect vehicles and equipment for safety compliance; perform brake repairs, tire service, wheel alignments, and suspension work. Complete service reports and logs accurately for each repair or maintenance task performed. Perform welding or soldering as needed during repairs. Qualifications Proven experience working as a diesel mechanic or service technician in a repair shop environment. Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Proficiency with schematics reading and diagnostics tools to identify issues efficiently. Ability to operate tractor-trailers safely and effectively. Knowledge of safety standards related to air brake systems, tire service, wheel alignment, suspension repair/ replacement. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly; comfortable working in various environmental conditions. Pay:
$33.00 - $45.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
