Water Heater Man, Inc., is looking for an experienced diesel mechanic to maintain our fleet.

Description:

The diesel mechanic reports to the General Manager and Owner. This position requires knowledge of dodge ram 3500-5500. This position requires knowledge pertaining to the servicing and repair of diesel and gas vehicles. In addition, this position requires the ability to speak, write, and communicate fluently in English. This position requires a valid California State driver's license, legal residency, and a federal social security number or taxpayer identification number. The minimum education requirement for this position is a high school diploma or a General Education Diploma (GED).

Core Responsibilities Diagnostics:

Using computer software and diagnostic tools to interpret fault codes and find the root cause of engine, transmission, or electrical issues.

Maintenance:

Conducting routine inspections and servicing—such as checking fluid levels, replacing filters, and adjusting brakes.

Repairs:

Overhauling and rebuilding major engine components, fuel injectors, turbochargers, and electrical systems.

Compliance:

Ensuring exhaust and emission systems meet pollution control standards.

Documentation:

Keeping precise records of all services performed, parts used, and hours worked. This position offers a flexible schedule based on the needs of the company and candidate.
