This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy-duty semi-truck and trailer equipment and automotive components. The Diesel Mechanic will perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on a wide range of diesel engines and heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. The Helper will assist with hands-on tasks, equipment handling, and support the mechanic in daily operations. Both positions are vital to maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our fleet and machinery, contributing to our commitment to excellence in service and safety. Duties Conduct thorough diagnostics using schematics, automotive diagnostics tools, and mechanical knowledge to identify issues with diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, and other heavy equipment components Perform repairs including engine overhauls, brake repairs, shocks & struts replacement, wheel alignments, and welding tasks using power tools and hand tools Maintain and repair industrial equipment like forklifts, tractor-trailers, HVAC systems, and other heavy machinery to ensure continuous operation Use electrical experience to troubleshoot wiring issues, solder connections, and ensure proper functioning of electrical systems in vehicles and equipment Support the team in heavy lifting tasks involving tires, transmissions, or large components while adhering to safety protocols Follow schematics accurately during assembly or disassembly processes; document all repairs and maintenance performed for record keeping Qualifications Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Service Technician with dealership or industrial background preferred Strong mechanical knowledge across automotive repair, heavy equipment operation, hydraulics, air brakes, and powertrain systems Hands-on experience with fabrication techniques including welding and soldering Familiarity with excavator, crane operation, forklift handling, and farm machinery maintenance Ability to read schematics accurately; proficient in using diagnostic tools for automotive diagnostics Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, alignment equipment, and other maintenance instruments Excellent problem-solving skills combined with customer service orientation to communicate effectively with clients or team members Physical ability for heavy lifting tasks; comfortable working in various environmental conditions Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to maintaining top-tier equipment performance!
