Hydraulics Full Job Description Summary:
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining all production equipment and is expected to troubleshoot, repair, install, adjust, modify, and service equipment and machinery using electrical/mechanical knowledge and expertise. Room to grow Day-to-day responsibilities of the Maintenance Mechanic include: Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance according to an established schedule on all industrial equipment Inspect machinery, lubricate and make adjustments or repairs as needed Effectively troubleshoot all mechanical equipment to identify issues and take necessary corrective actions to repair, replace or rebuild Perform PMs and other Maintenance tasks as assigned Use of welding equipment when necessary Uphold assigned job duties, prioritize workload, develop realistic action plans while keeping quality in mind to meet productivity standards Work independently with little Supervisory intervention Follow all Environmental, Health & Safety rules and regulations Follow Lockout/Tag out Safety policy and good manufacturing practices
Requirements/Qualifications:
At least 3-5 years of experience working as a Heavy Equipment Maintenance Mechanic-Prefer
RENTAL YARD EXPERIENCE
Ability to read blue prints, drawings, and sketches Must have a high degree of electro-mechanical aptitude Must have strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Hydraulic systems Technical training/exposure including, but not limited to: electrical, machine shop, hydraulics, pneumatics and welding strongly preferred Must have a clean DMV record
