is looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of heavy-duty commercial trucks and trailers. We are looking for a hands-on, experienced mechanic with a minimum of 5 years of professional diesel mechanic experience. The ideal candidate should be able to independently diagnose problems, perform repairs, complete preventive maintenance, and keep equipment safe and DOT compliant. This is not an entry-level position. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled services Diagnose engine, electrical, air, brake, and aftertreatment problems Troubleshoot check-engine lights and fault codes using diagnostic software Repair air brake systems, air leaks, and suspension components Perform engine and drivetrain repairs Diagnose and repair DEF, DPF, EGR, and emissions/aftertreatment systems Perform oil, filter, coolant, transmission, and differential services Inspect and repair tractors and trailers Diagnose ABS and electrical issues Perform DOT inspections and identify safety defects Complete repairs correctly and efficiently to minimize equipment downtime Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records Keep the shop, tools, and work area organized Communicate needed repairs and equipment condition to management Qualifications Minimum 5 years of professional heavy-duty diesel mechanic experience required 5-10+ years of experience strongly preferred Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Experience working on Class 8 commercial trucks Experience with Freightliner Cascadia and Detroit Diesel/DD15 strongly preferred Experience with computer-based diagnostic software Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, air brakes, suspension, and aftertreatment systems Ability to work independently without constant supervision Must have own basic mechanic hand tools Valid driver's license required CDL is a plus ASE certifications are a plus What We Are Looking For We want an experienced mechanic who can diagnose the problem, determine the correct repair, and complete the work properly the first time. The right candidate should be dependable, organized, safety-focused, and comfortable taking responsibility for keeping commercial equipment on the road. Experience Required Diesel Mechanic /

5 years minimum Applicants without at least 5 years of relevant heavy-duty diesel experience may not be considered. Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday Additional hours or occasional weekends as needed Compensation $60,000
