Mobile Fleet Maintenance Company (Based in Salinas, CA)
Schedule:
Part-Time, Flexible Hours We are a growing mobile fleet maintenance company based in Salinas, California, seeking an experienced Part-Time Diesel Mechanic/Fleet Technician to service commercial fleet customers in the San Jose and South Bay area. This position is ideal for a skilled mechanic looking for supplemental income, flexible scheduling, or a semi-independent role. We can work around your existing work schedule and availability. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on diesel and commercial fleet vehicles Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Complete routine service work including oil changes, filters, brakes, and other fleet maintenance needs Document repairs and maintenance performed Communicate professionally with customers and company management Maintain a safe and organized work environment Qualifications Prior diesel mechanic experience required Experience working on medium-duty and/or heavy-duty trucks preferred Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues independently Strong work ethic and reliability Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to work independently in a mobile service environment Preferred Qualifications ASE Certifications or equivalent industry certifications Previous fleet maintenance experience What We Offer Flexible scheduling that can work around your current employment or commitments Competitive hourly pay based on experience Opportunity to grow with a locally owned and expanding company Independent work environment with strong support from management Consistent work servicing established fleet customers If you are an experienced diesel technician looking for a flexible opportunity with a growing company, we'd love to hear from you.
