Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of diesel-powered equipment and vehicles. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability of heavy machinery used across construction, agriculture, transportation, and industrial sectors. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, air brakes, and other key components using schematics and diagnostic tools. Conduct repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment including tractors, trailers, and construction machinery. Troubleshoot complex equipment issues such as suspension problems, HVAC systems, wheel alignments, and welding repairs. Maintain detailed service records and complete all necessary documentation for repairs performed. Operate heavy equipment safely during troubleshooting or testing procedures while adhering to safety protocols. Assist with equipment assembly, tire service, electrical diagnostics, soldering tasks, and general maintenance to ensure machinery operates efficiently. Skills Proven experience with heavy equipment servicing and maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, and air brake systems. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex machinery issues. Ability to perform precise alignments and suspension repairs; familiar with OEM parts and specifications. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members.
