Diesel Mechanic Technician

## Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel engines and vehicles. This position offers an opportunity to work with a variety of diesel-powered equipment. ## Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance on diesel engines
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in diesel vehicles
• Conduct inspections to identify faulty components and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Utilize welding, soldering, and heavy equipment operation skills as needed
• Collaborate with team members to complete repairs efficiently
• Document all repairs and maintenance tasks accurately ## Skills
• Proficiency in vehicle maintenance, including diesel engines
• Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Cummins & Volvo engines is a plus
• Welding and soldering abilities for repairs
• Knowledge of HVAC systems in vehicles
• Previous experience in a dealership or automotive repair shop is beneficial
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment
