In this energetic role, you'll leverage your mechanical expertise to ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability of construction machinery, industrial equipment, and transportation vehicles. Your hands-on skills will keep our operations running smoothly, supporting large-scale projects and fleet management with precision and enthusiasm. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced tools and technologies in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence. Duties Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, hydraulics, air brakes, and electrical systems across various heavy equipment and vehicles. Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, tire service, alignment, welding, and equipment inspections to prevent breakdowns and extend machinery lifespan. Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using schematics, OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) manuals, and electrical/electronic diagnostics tools. Fabricate parts or components as needed using power tools, welding equipment, and hand tools to ensure proper fitment and functionality. Service construction machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors-trailers, farm machinery, and other industrial equipment to maximize operational efficiency. Assist in assembly or disassembly of heavy equipment for repairs or upgrades while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic findings for accountability and future reference. Skills Proven dealership experience with heavy equipment servicing highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in fabrication, welding, electrical diagnostics, and automotive repair. Expertise in diagnosing issues related to diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, HVAC systems, and electrical components. Skilled in reading schematics and technical manuals to accurately troubleshoot complex problems. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering tools, and other maintenance devices. Experience working with construction machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors-trailers; familiarity with OEM standards is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during inspections or repairs. Excellent customer service skills for communicating effectively with team members and clients regarding maintenance needs or repair status.
