In this energetic role, you will diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of industrial, and construction machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will keep our fleet running smoothly, supporting various industries and customer needs. We are looking for a motivated professional with a passion for mechanical work, eager to deliver top-notch service in a fast-paced environment. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, and other heavy equipment components using schematics and diagnostic tools. Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, tire services, brake repairs, shocks & struts, wheel alignments, and HVAC system checks. Repair and rebuild diesel engines, including troubleshooting electrical systems, fuel systems, cooling systems, and air brakes. Fabricate parts or modify equipment using power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and hand tools to meet specific operational requirements. Service a variety of machinery including excavators, cranes, forklifts, farm machinery, industrial equipment, tractor-trailers, and other heavy-duty vehicles. Use detailed schematics and technical manuals to interpret repair procedures accurately. Conduct safety inspections and ensure all repairs meet industry standards and safety regulations. Assist with assembly or disassembly of equipment during repairs or upgrades. Maintain detailed records of all service work performed for warranty purposes and future reference. Proven experience working as a Diesel Technician or in a similar automotive or heavy equipment repair role; dealership experience is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs involving transmissions, suspensions, hydraulics, electrical systems, and HVAC units. Proficiency with schematics interpretation and troubleshooting complex machinery issues. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment (including welding techniques), soldering tools, and other maintenance hardware. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while handling large components or equipment parts. Experience working with heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, farm machinery or industrial equipment is desirable. Knowledge of safety standards related to air brake systems and vehicle maintenance procedures. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team under tight deadlines.
