Training Opportunities What You'll Do Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated, highly skilled technician to perform preventative maintenance and entry-level mechanical repairs on commercial trucks. This position supports fleet and customer vehicle safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities :
Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and safety checks in compliance with company, DOT, and federal/state regulations. Diagnose, service, and repair vehicle systems including brakes, clutches, HVAC, steering, suspension, and drivetrain components. Inspect, maintain, and repair 5th wheel assemblies and assist with emissions-related maintenance as applicable. Safely operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and diagnostic equipment while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Accurately document repairs, inspections, and maintenance performed on work orders and reports, and complete additional assigned duties as needed.
What We're Looking For Qualifications:
Minimum of 1-2 years of diesel technician experience in diagnosing and repairing light, medium and heavy-duty trucks. Experience performing PM related services. Must have a valid driver's license: CDL Preferred. Must be able to lift 50lbs/push-pull 75lbs. High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. ASE certification preferred.
