Job Description

Diesel Technician Dade City, FL From $25 an hour - Full-time From $25 an hour - Full-time Our Diesel Technicians are responsible for the assembly, set-up, maintenance, and repair of all types of equipment to ensure they operate safely and at optimum efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform all work adhering to DOT, OSHA, and all company safety and maintenance policies; including but not limited to the correct selection and use of appropriate tools, PPE, machine guarding, and established best safety practice Diagnose cause of most malfunctions and perform repairs per OEM guidelines Doing preventative maintenance repairs—like replacing or rotating tires—and completing vehicle component lubrication and replacement, some electrical system repairs, and cooling system maintenance on gas and diesel engine vehicles Understand and follow safety procedures. Perform projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or its equivalent preferred. Vocational school or other welding training preferred. 3 years of related experience required. Ability to weld, fabricate, and repair a variety of metal work. Knowledge of tools and methods of the welding trade. Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints and technical manuals. Ability to perform minor repair and maintenance on a variety of diesel-powered equipment. Ability to understand and follow instructions; function effectively as part of a team; ability to work under pressure; communicate with supervisors, co-workers, and the public. Ability to prioritize, multi-task, take initiative, and problem solve while maintaining attention to detail. Please send your resume today!
