This is a great opportunity for someone who's eager to learn, takes pride in their work, and wants to grow in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. You'll be working on a wide range of vehicles including motorcoaches, black car service vehicles, limos, and sprinter vans, handling everything from engine overhauls and electrical diagnostics to AC and tire services—all done in-house. We offer competitive hourly pay ($16-$25 based on experience) with overtime, flexible hours, and unlimited PTO. No certifications are required, and we welcome candidates with 1-2 years of experience who are ready to bring a strong work ethic and positive attitude. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, air brake systems, hydraulics, suspension components, and other heavy-duty vehicle systems. Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, shocks & struts replacement, wheel alignments, and HVAC system servicing. Fabricate parts and components as needed using welding, soldering, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to support repairs or custom modifications. Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and other farm or industrial equipment for troubleshooting or repair purposes. Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs on complex machinery like cummins detroit diesel allison, freight liner Maintain detailed service records for each vehicle or piece of equipment repaired or serviced; ensure compliance with safety standards including electrical systems and air brake regulations. Assist with assembly of new equipment or parts as required; support ongoing maintenance programs to maximize fleet uptime. Requirements Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and heavy equipment repair. Dealership experience (1 to 2 years) preferred but not required. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic scanners, and maintenance equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge of transmissions, hydraulics systems, suspension components, HVAC systems, electrical wiring, and tire services, etc. Ability to lift heavy objects safely; excellent problem-solving skills; commitment to safety standards at all times. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients when necessary.
