Who we're looking for: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Diesel Technician with a minimum of 5 years in the diesel repair industry. The ideal candidate will be proficient in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment, while providing professional on-site customer service.
Responsibilities:
What you will do: Travel to customer locations to perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic issues in diesel engines, heavy trucks, and equipment. Perform services such as engine repairs, brake work, fuel system maintenance, transmission service, and other general diesel repairs. Operate diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues. Provide clear, accurate estimates and explain repair needs to customers. Maintain accurate service records and parts usage documentation. Keep mobile work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations. Deliver exceptional customer service to build strong client relationships.
Qualifications:
What You Bring:
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a diesel technician, preferably with mobile service experience. ASE Medium/Heavy Truck Certification(s) or OEM training preferred. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, drivetrains, fuel systems, and diagnostic procedures. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL a plus). Ability to work independently and efficiently in the field and as part of a collaborative team. Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills. Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in various weather conditions. Proven work ethic, reliability, and a track record of job stability. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly with customers. A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow under management coaching.
