A to Z Statewide Plumbing is a fast-growing, professional company that takes pride in keeping our fleet and equipment running at peak performance. We're looking for a skilled Gas, Diesel & Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team and help maintain our trucks, equipment, and machinery.
Position Overview:
The Gas, Diesel & Heavy Duty Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel trucks and heavy equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, brakes, filters, etc.) Repair diesel engines, transmissions, and other major components Maintain service records and work orders Inspect vehicles and equipment for safety and compliance Respond to breakdowns as needed
Qualifications:
3+ years' experience as a diesel/heavy-duty mechanic Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Experience with fleet maintenance (preferred) Valid driver's license (CDL a plus) Own tools
