Full-Time Fleet Mechanic Location:
Sebring, FL Are you an experienced mechanic looking for a stable, full-time position with excellent benefits? We're seeking a dependable and skilled Fleet Mechanic to help keep our buses and fleet vehicles operating safely and efficiently. What We Offer Competitive pay Medical benefits Retirement plan Paid Time Off (PTO) Full-time schedule with consistent hours Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Key Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on buses and other fleet vehicles Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, steering, suspension, and A/C issues Complete routine inspections and services to ensure vehicles meet all safety standards Maintain accurate repair records and document completed work Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe Respond to occasional after-hours or weekend road calls when needed Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience as a diesel or automotive mechanic Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning Excellent mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines Valid driver's license required (CDL preferred but not required) No DWI convictions Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Strong communication and problem-solving skills Owning your own tools is a plus If you're ready to put your skills to work with a company that values quality, safety, and teamwork, apply today and help keep our fleet running at its best!
